Wacoal Philippines celebrates 35 years in the Philippines along with the amazing women who proudly wear our brand.
For years Wacoal has stood for honored and celebrated women in the beauty of every shape, size, and background which has inspired our landmark celebration at the prestigious Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila last June 20, 2024, entitled: "Wacoal: 35 Years of Celebrating Every Woman.”
This commemorative event marks Wacoal’s 35 years of dedication to empowering women and encouraging them to embrace their individuality and uniqueness. Throughout that special day, we organized events and programs that perfectly embody Wacoal’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity: Philippine Wacoal Awarding Ceremony, Wacoal 35th Year Celebration Art Exhibit, Wacoal Fashion Show, and Gala Night.

Philippine Wacoal Awarding Ceremony: Emerald Awardees
To recognize the significant contributions of various individuals and organizations, we awarded the women who have played pivotal roles in Wacoal's success in the Philippines over the past 35 years.
Hosted by 2017 Miss Earth and WWF Philippine Ambassador, Ms. Karen Ibasco, the ceremony will honor partner suppliers, dealers, department stores, advocacy partners, and Wacoal employees.

While the awarding was ongoing, attendees were serenaded by award-winning singer-composer Mr. Miguel Mendoza, known for his hit song "Isa Pang Araw."
To cap off the ceremony, U.N Women PH Goodwill Ambassador, and HER LEGACY Founder, Ms. Karen Davila, graced the event as a Guest Speaker. Ms. Davila shared inspiring insights that focus on empowering fellow women through her life journey and experiences that resonate with Wacoal's mission of celebrating every woman.

Following the awarding ceremony, two distinct pop-up galleries were set up to offer a variety of artistic explorations of womanhood:
First Showcase: The Celeste Lecaroz Exhibit
This art exhibit showcases spontaneous realism that captures the essence of women through bright and vibrant colors that celebrate the diverse facets of womanhood.

Second Showcase: Journey of Wonder Women 2 by Shape Women Org
Curated by Mari Zhar Carvil, this exhibit features artwork by ten celebrity artists, including Elizabeth Oropeza, Melissa Mendez, and Nadia Montenegro. The gallery aims to honor the resilience, strength, and beauty of women through various artistic expressions.

Wacoal Fashion Show and Gala Night
The much-anticipated launch of Wacoal’s 2024 new product collection, featuring designs that celebrate women of all ages, shapes, and colors was launched during the anniversary event:

Wacoal honors all women who can relate to this young, successful Filipina CEO— a true embodiment of “HER”.
HEALING
Championing breast cancer awareness and fostering recovery, Wacoal introduces specialized products like the Wacoal Remamma & Balancing Bra tailored for women who have undergone mastectomy.
To showcase Wacoal's unwavering dedication to healing, we recognize the incredible journey of Ms. Glenda Garcia— a breast cancer survivor, advocate, and entrepreneur, who embodies resilience and fortitude.
Her triumphant journey from a breast cancer diagnosis in 2013 to emerging cancer-free within a year is a testament to hope and unwavering strength. Balancing a thriving career, an active lifestyle, and a steadfast faith, Ms. Garcia inspires with her message of empowerment and healing.
